- Teresa Krone
- I'm writing this story to help others diagnosed with this relatively rare cancer. I'm a family nurse practitioner, working in a hospital. My husband Richard was a fifth grade teacher. He retired on disability in 2005 after thirty years of teaching. He was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in April of 1999, one week after his 49th birthday. He died February 28, 2009. The blog will stay for awhile. Hopefully our experiences can help others.

I think of you so often.
My husband has the same Mayo doctor that you and your husband saw... So I certainly think of you every time we go to Mayo Clinic.
