I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad that he was comfortable in the end. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I am sorry for your loss. I just discovered your blog today. I also have been keeping one for my husband's Multiple Myeloma for the past few years.
Thanks for keeping us in your lives.
I want to tell you how much of an impact Mr. Krone made on my life. I had him as a 4th/5th grader at South Elementary. He was an awesome teacher who challenged me and made learning fun. I still remember times when he had me laughing so hard that I cried. I now teach 6th grade in Earlham, Iowa. Mr. Krone is one of the main reasons I became a teacher. I will never forget him and carry with me what he taught me every day. I only hope I can impact my students like he impacted me. Your family is in my prayers.

I, too, had Mr. Krone at South. Like my sister, I am also a teacher. I will never forget how he challenged us to learn more about words and ideas by using them in his daily vocabulary. "autumn equinox" and "flummoxed" are two examples that come to mind. Mr. Krone challenged me to learn, even when the core curriculum came easily.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart is breaking for you tonight. I've been following your myeloma blog for over 2 years, since my own husband's mm diagnosis, and I've learned a great deal from your postings. I want to thank you for sharing your journey and your expertise with us all.
God bless you, your family, and especially Richard. May he rest in peace.

I am very sorry for your loss. I wish I would have found your blog before today. I lost my mom to MM in Dec 08. God bless you and your family.
I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep your family in my prayers.
